Never learned to swim as a kid? You’re not alone. Our patient, judgment-free instructors specialize in adult beginners and are trained to work with water anxiety.

Levels offered

  • Beginner – comfort in shallow water, floating, breath control
  • Advanced Beginner – freestyle mechanics, back float to swim
  • Intermediate – endurance, stroke refinement, deep-water confidence

Sessions run every six weeks and are open to Riverstone residents and non-residents alike (non-resident +$20 fee applies).

What's the registration & refund policy?
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the program start date. Within 7 days, refunds are issued as account credit. If a program is cancelled by the district, you'll receive a full refund automatically.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes — the Riverstone Recreation Fund covers up to 100% of program fees for qualifying households. Applications are confidential and processed within 5 business days.
How do I know if a class is cancelled?
You will receive an email and text (if opted in) at least 60 minutes before start time. Same-day cancellations are also posted on the sitewide emergency banner.
Is there a non-resident fee?
Non-residents pay a small surcharge (usually 10 to 25 dollars) that helps offset facility maintenance funded by Riverstone taxpayers.
