Junior Explorers Nature Camp

A week-long outdoor adventure for kids ages 6–10, blending hiking, wildlife discovery, and stream science along the Riverstone Trail.

Junior Explorers Nature Camp

Riverstone’s flagship summer camp gets kids off screens and into the woods. Each week campers explore a different theme — from pond ecosystems to birds of prey — while building confidence, friendships, and a love for the outdoors.

What campers do

  • Guided hikes along the Riverstone Trail with certified naturalists
  • Stream science and macroinvertebrate hunts
  • Nature journaling, art projects, and shelter-building
  • Weekly Friday cookout with families welcome

What to bring

Sturdy shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, and a spirit of adventure. Rain or shine — we head out either way (with backup plans for lightning).
